Please be advised our Tierra Amarilla Collection Center is closed toay 11/14/2025 due to a power outage in the area. They will be open normal hours tomorrow Saturday.

All trash must be bagged or barrels will not be serviced.

All dump trailers must be taken to Alcalde Transfer Station. El Prado and Cordova are only permitted to take small amounts of solid waste. We cannot exceed the amount of a pickup truck at these locations.

At this time we are not accepting Green Waste, We encourage all customers with green waste to apply for a burn permit with the Rio Arriba County Fire Department.

Please be advised that Landfill closures and weather (such as heavy rains, high winds, snow, power outages, etc.) may cause closures at our Transfer Stations and Collection Centers.
